Cross-Border Transport

We are developing regional movements beyond Zambia, confirming every route per contract before we quote.

Fuel across a border

In fact, regional movements beyond Zambia are [TBC: geography], and we confirm routing, permits, border handling per contract before accepting a movement from you.

We believe a quoted route should be one we can actually run. The variable on a cross-border run is rarely the driving, because the paperwork and the queue decide the timing.

Clearance, documentation and dwell

We quote these movements per contract, because a rate card cannot price a border queue.

But a cross-border movement carries documentation a domestic one doesn’t, including transit paperwork, product classification, the receiving country’s handling requirements.

Dwell time at a post is the largest single variable in a regional delivery window, so we quote cross-border lead times per movement. The current position is [TBC: delivery time].

Border questions

We answer all four of these before we quote you a route, because each one can stop a load.

Which borders can you move through?

The routes we currently serve are [TBC: geography], and we confirm a specific crossing against the permits we hold before quoting it to you.

Who handles clearance?

We arrange clearance as part of the movement. The documentation required varies by product classification and destination, which is [TBC: standard].

How is dwell time priced?

We quote standing time at a post per movement, because it can’t be predicted from a rate card. Indicative figures are [TBC: delivery time].

Is this available now?

Cross-border transport is still in development, and where a route isn’t yet cleared we’ll tell you instead of quoting against it.

Route confirmation

Send us the origin, the destination and the product, and we’ll tell you where we can run.
