Safety data sheets

This page explains what a safety data sheet is and how you get the current version from us.

What a safety data sheet is

It is a handling document we issue per product, revised whenever the applicable requirement changes.

In fact, a safety data sheet sets out how a product behaves and how it must be handled and stored, along with what to do if it’s spilled.

We believe the issued document is the only one worth working from. We issue the current sheet when your account opens, when we first deliver, and again whenever we revise it.

But your site should always hold the current version, with the sheets below listed by product family without reproducing any of their content here.

Sheets for fuels

We issue each of these with the first delivery of that product, and again on revision.

Sheets for lubricants and speciality oils

We issue these per grade, so a site drawing several different grades will hold several sheets.

Sheets for fuels in development

We issue these only for an agreed trial.

These products are not cleared for commercial supply to every site, and the sheets follow the trial.
